![]() I'm not a gamer, but I'm unusually sensitive to visual display. NVCP overrides in-game settings, if you enable AF and Vsync in-game AND at the same time you enable AF and Vsync in the NVCP, the latter will take priority overriding the in-game settings, most of the time the NVCP Vsync setting will be better than the in-game setting better as in having lower input lag and better framepacing but it's really. You can force higher setting not necessarily provided by developers, most likely because they felt it was unnecessary or did not work well with the game. scroll down and see if game is there.then see if GAMMA is an option to adjust. Then see if you can set the Gamma as I stated above. So I'm wondering if less expensive pc's with different dedicated graphics cards might have that kind of control. Nvidia control panel overrides the application settings, when running that particular environment. Also, to force the NVIDIA GPU on, you have to be plugged into the wall, power set to High. The Inspiron Desktop 5680 I'm currently interested in does have that dedicated Nvidia control panel installed, but customer rep couldn't tell me if it had gamma setting or not.It is a rather costly desktop-probably on account of the Nvidia. Question is : Do all Nvidia Control Panels have that gamma setting nowadays? I believe Intel had removed that gamma setting from their control panel. So maybe Nvidia is doing that as well. I do recall an Nvidia Control Panel which did have a calibrated gamma slider. Does this mean you have 32x AF or, does it mean that the control panel setting will override and replace the in-game AF. I also have 16x AF set in the Nvidia Control Panel. ![]() Which graphics cards have the Gamma setting as part of their Graphics Control? 1) Does setting 'Anisotropic Filtering' to 16x Globally in the Nvidia Control Panel replace or add-to the in-game AF setting So, for example - I have AF set in-game to 16x. So I'm looking for PC with dedicated (rather than integrated) graphics card, which might give me the most control An important consideration in my choice is my control over fine tuning of display parameters:īrightness /Conrast /Gamma/ Color Saturation
